One app per player. One screen for the room.
Install Klapo on every player’s phone before the game. The app keeps answers, votes and roles private; a four-letter code brings everyone into the same room.
Why every player needs the mobile app
A player’s phone is their private controller: it receives their role, sends their answers and records their votes. A TV or web page can show the room, but it never gets a player seat.
Join with a four-letter code
The room displays a four-letter code. Every player opens the installed Klapo app, scans or enters the code, and chooses a name. The shared screen only displays the code and the show.
What TV and web pages do
klapo.app/tv is the room’s shared screen. klapo.app/watch is spectator-only. Neither page accepts answers or votes: gameplay stays in the mobile app.
Get everyone ready before the game
Ask guests to install Klapo before they arrive, then joining takes seconds. If someone arrives late, they open the app, enter the code and take their place without interrupting the room.
Klapo’s rule is simple: every player uses the mobile app; the TV is optional; /watch lets people watch without becoming players.
Every player joins from the Klapo mobile app. The TV is optional.
