How it works
Klapo is played together in the same room. Every player joins from the installed mobile app. The TV is optional and never replaces a player’s phone.
What you need
The Klapo mobile app installed on every player’s phone. From 3 to 8 players. An optional shared screen — a TV, a laptop or a tablet in the middle of the table.
How a game runs
The room displays a code. Everyone joins from the installed Klapo app and picks a nickname. 3 rounds follow one another; the last one counts double. Then the final results, and a card worth sharing.
Points
100 points per vote received. 50 if you voted for the winning subtitle. 250 if the whole table votes for you — that happens about once a night, and nobody forgets it.
The TV is optional
With a shared screen, the scene and votes play out in the middle of the room. Without one, the game continues in the mobile apps. The TV never becomes a player controller.
Five languages
Klapo is played in French, English, Spanish, German and Italian. Everyone picks their own: at the same table, two players can read in two different languages.
